The LYFEhouse Career & Leadership Center is a free, open-access virtual space where high school students explore careers, develop leadership skills, and receive ongoing guidance as they prepare for life after graduation.

Through their engagement in the Center, students will:

Create or refine a resume and career profile

Strengthen leadership and self-advocacy skills

Eligibility: Teens ages 14–18 who are current residents of Alachua County.
Why This Matters
Many parents worry about whether their child will graduate with direction, confidence, and real-world readiness. Our Center helps ease that worry and gives students a safe, supportive space to discover their strengths and plan for their future.

Individualized Career Coaching
After an introductory coaching call, your teen can schedule ongoing sessions with a dedicated career coach to help with goal-setting and post-high school planning. Together, they’ll uncover who they are, what matters most, and how to turn that into a plan for their future that they can confidently share.
Monthly Career & Leadership Workshops
Each month, LYFEhouse hosts virtual workshops on career, leadership, and life skills designed to build the mindset and skills students need to thrive in the world of work and beyond.
Digital Career Resource Library
Your teen will receive on-demand access to resources, guides, and activities to help them learn about themselves, build in-demand skills, and develop a clear plan for their future.

Students will also receive a grade-level Career Guide each month to support career and life planning.
