2026 Rethink Service Fellowship
Program Overview
The reThink Service Fellowship is a 12-week leadership and service-learning experience that empowers high school students to turn passion into purpose and ideas into action.
Through career and leadership training, mentorship, and real-world project design, students don’t just earn service hours. They research community issues, lead initiatives, and grow into confident change agents equipped for college, careers, and civic life.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

Be enrolled in good academic standing at a participating Alachua County high school

If under the age of 18, have parental or guardian consent
-
Be able to commit to required training dates and weekly program expectations (see nelow)
What Is the reThink Service Fellowship?
reThink is a structured fellowship where students design and implement a student-led service project focused on an issue they care about.

The experience blends leadership development, career readiness, and community engagement using:

John C. Maxwell’s leadership principles

UCLA’s Social Change Leadership Framework

Together, these frameworks help students move from awareness to action while strengthening leadership identity, collaboration skills, and social responsibility.

Virtual Training
All Fellows must be available from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on:
